Got 4 seconds I can borrow? - HandsOn Network

I can think of a hundred reasons why you shouldn’t have the 4 seconds to click this link and complete a simple task.
I can only think of one reason why you should.
Because of you, a child you will never meet, in a place you have never heard of, may go hold the hand of a lonely senior—or tutor another student who’s struggling—or start a recycling program where none existed before.
Just click and vote for HandsOn Network—assuming you are on Facebook. It’s just a terrific organization, top to bottom, among other wonderful ones listed. I hope you won’t think less of me for inviting you to also forward to your great network. Snowballs start and things “catch” when people of influence like you decide they do.

ABOUT HandsOn Network:
Our Origins
HandsOn Network, the volunteer-focused arm of Points of Light Institute, leads people from impulse to action, turning ideas for change in to real projects.
HandsOn Network provides a national platform for action. Through our 250 Action Centers (Affiliates) we reach 83% of the American population and engage more than 70,000 nonprofits, government agencies, faith based organizations and companies.
In 2007 alone we delivered more than 30 million hours of service. The Action Centers focus on helping people plug into volunteer opportunities in their local community; helping nonprofits manage volunteer resources and developing volunteer leaders. These affiliates act as community hubs—places where people can get connected, get involved and make change happen in their communities.
Mission: HandsOn Network Equips, Mobilizes, and Inspires People to Take Action that Changes the World.
The Network also includes an expanded base of thousands of corporate partners, nonprofit, community, faith-based and government organizations. HandsOn Network is leading people from impulse to action.
