Steven Gaswirth began to study acting in 1993 with Patti Maloney at SUNY Rockland in New York. In 1986 he co-starred on a TV show for USA Networks called “Up All Night with Rhonda Shear.” Steve also appeared in television commercials and worked on several New York Film Academy short films. In 2000 he went to Hollywood, California continuing his studies with several teachers such as Amanda Hendon, Sal Romeo, Janice Allen, Michael Sonntag and currently with Johnny Coppola. In 2005 Steve had a supporting role in an independent film called “Central Booking” and also played a leading role in another independent film called “Desolate City.”
In 2006 he had a Supporting role in a feature film called “Al Qarem” and also starred in commercials for “Hollywood Previews” and “Hahm Motorsports”. In 2007 Steve played several supporting roles, one in a short comedy called “A Guy Named Murphy” on Steven Speilberg’s reality show website www.thelot.com and another in a short independent film called “My Michelle.” In 2008 he had a supporting role in a full feature film called “Knuckledraggers.” In 2009 Steve had a supporting role in an independent film called “Zombie Chronicles”. In 2010 he played a leading role in “Zombie Chronicles Part 2?. In 2011 Steve played supporting and lead roles in several independent and feature films such as “Rough Edge”, “Killer Heels”, “Boricuamagic”, “Ten Buck Baton”, “Before the Aftermath”, “The Nature of Honor”, “Stilo” and “The Jose Lucas Story”.
