Biography

Erik Fellows was born in Silver Spring, Maryland. He grew up as an only child in an Italian/ Swedish / English household. He was an active kid and loved athletics. At the young age of eight, Erik gained a passion for basketball and his idol Michael Jordan! He dedicated himself to the sport and eventually earned himself the position of starting point guard on his Varsity High School basketball team. At the beginning of his senior year, an injury put his basketball career on hold and opened his eyes to other possibilities in life. Erik was introduced to a modeling agency in Georgetown, DC, as a possible back up plan in the fashion/entertainment industry. He ended up signing a contract and worked as a model for ads and catalogs in the local area. It wasn’t Erik’s first dream career, and he wasn’t sure if it was something that fully interested him at all, but it was something to pay the bills and make some extra cash while trying to figure out this thing we call life. Erik eventually started to gather more of an interest in it, and he relocated to New York City and told himself, “what the heck, I seem to have a knack for this industry, so let’s give this modeling and acting thing a shot.” He was fascinated by the bustling city life and the grueling pace of NYC. He managed to study acting in between modeling auditions and casting calls. Erik was fortunate enough to book jobs. He appeared in print work and commercials for numerous different designers, companies, and products such as Macy’s, Noxzema, Nivea, GQ mag, and Cosmo Mag, American Crew, Levis, Lee Jeans, etc.

To truly succeed in the entertainment industry, Erik contemplated moving to Los Angeles. Following the tragic events on September 11th, 2001, his eyes on Los Angeles were sharpened. The move to Los Angeles proved to be well worth it. Before he knew it, he landed huge commercial campaigns for Verizon wireless, Chevy, Miller lite, Gillette, and a world campaign for Pom Wonderful. Along with his print and commercials, he also graced the screen in many music videos. He’s played the love interest to huge stars such as Jennifer Lopez “Me Haces Falta,” Katharine McPhee “Love Story,” Lindsay Lohan “Rumors,” and Dido “Sand in my Shoes.”

After establishing himself in the music video industry, Erik decided to make major moves in his acting career. Over the years, he has appeared in several TV shows and films, including “CSI: NY,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” had a major recurring role in “Days of our Lives,” and is presently a series regular on the Amazon Prime Emmy Winning Series “The Bay.” Erik’s past film work includes Bonnie and Clyde “Justified,” “Rounds,” the indie hit “American Cowslip” (where he played alongside the legendary actor’s Peter Falk, Cloris Leachman, Rip Torn, Diane Ladd, Bruce Dern, and Val Kilmer), the Amazon Prime hit “Texas Heart” (2016), and in his dark comedy film “Jonny’s Sweet Revenge” (2017), that did very well in the festival circuit winning 14 awards was released worldwide.

Erik’s film, “Being Rose,” was released in (2019) where he played alongside legends Cybill Shepard and James Brolin playing Cybill Shepard’s son. Also, in (2019), he starred in the hit Lifetime movie “My Daughter’s Ransom,” playing the role of Frank.

In (2020) so far, Erik was also fortunate enough to book and play himself /face and character Jonas Beil in the very successful video game franchise NBA 2K20 that has recently been released. He has a new series he’s starring in called “Purgatory” as a series regular playing the edgy and mischievous character of Bobby. He also has two newly anticipated films, “Break Even” and “STARFCK’R,” set to be released in late 2020 / early 2021. Those two films have been delayed because of set back with the Covid-19 pandemic, but he’s sending love and prayers to all of those that have fallen and have suffered from the tragic virus. Hopefully, there will resolve for this soon.
